…but it pours, man, it pours. (What Albert Hammond didn’t mention, though, is that when it pours it’s gorgeous.)
I was supposed to shoot Passion Pit for Prefix one night, ages ago, but when I got there I was on the list but without a photo pass, so I left and went to see Audacity and Woah Hunx at Pehrspace instead. Judging by the looks of the Passion Pit audience lined up outside, I [...]
Once upon last summer I did a shoot with Charon Nogues styling and Linda Immediato doing make up. They’re both wonderful.
Elysian Park, Los Angeles: go up the street, into the park, along the path with the stadium view (follow the tagging), through the woods, under the birds that throw twigs, and there you are.
I’m an Essex girl in New York.
The book on the left’s a Polish photography book I got in Krakow. The book on the right’s an American collection of old photobooth pictures that I picked up in a Long Beach record shop while the Black Lips were doing an in-store. I’d had the photobooth book for ages and looked through it a [...]

Remember vinyl? That fragile, inconvenient, difficult-to-travel-with way of buying music? (Remember buying music?) Well, boys who play records for drunk people in dark bars do! And, dear reader, I used to go out with one of those boys. The free drinks were always fun, but I’d sometimes get bored and just take pictures of his [...]
The first show of the year for me was the last of their career for Mika Miko. [January 1st at The Smell. More shots on Brooklyn Vegan.]
